There is no season in which I am more thankful for my chiropractic adjustments than summer! Our warm season passes way too quickly here in New Hampshire and so I feel obligated to pack in every activity possible. I’ll readily admit that some of these aren’t the most spine-friendly.
From tubing on Lake Winnipesaukee (read whiplash) to riding Disneyworld’s Space Mountain (read whiplash here too) I have put my spine through the wringer this summer. Of course I’ve tried my best to protect my spine while having fun…
Just look at this embarrassing photo of me bracing my neck with my hand during the infamous space travel rollercoaster in the dark! If that doesn’t say “chiropractor” I don’t know what does.
In reality though, it’s impossible to protect our spines from every fun activity, unexpected impact or stressful life event. That’s why we have regular chiropractic check-ups. Subluxations put stress on the joints and lead to arthritis. They also prevent the brain from communicating clearly with the body; lack of control and coordination result, keeping us from being our most radiant self. Let me make a public thank you to Dr. Loni and Dr. Jen for keeping me well-adjusted this summer, after all they have kept me going and made sure my summer subluxations don’t follow me into fall! Thank you ladies for being my chiropractors! And thank you to our practice members for choosing us to help you stay well-adjusted!
