Reflections and Sneak Previews….

As 2014 draws to a close (wow!) and we welcome in a new year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect upon this past year and give you all a bit of a sneak preview of the new year.

It has always been part of Crossroads mission to bring chiropractic to as many people and families in NH, and this past year we opened our 3rd location in Epping: Crossroads Chiropractic 125! This allows us the opportunity to connect the seacoast region with chiropractic and help families in that area on their journey towards better health. 2014 has also brought us many new faces within the Crossroads staff. We welcomed Leah, who runs the Front Desk at Lakeside; Dr David who is the chiropractor in Epping; Veronica who runs the Front Desk at Epping; and Dr Loni who is chiropractor in Pembroke. This past year also brought to light we have a star among us! Dr Stephanie was crowned Ms. America over the summer and she has been busy spreading her message of concussion awareness through-out the country. The end of the year brought amazing generosity from all our practice members as we were able to donate loads of clothes, toiletries, tents, blankets to the Open Hands Resource Center in Concord, food and non-perishables in the Meredith and toys for Toys for Tots in Epping. A few of chiropractors are also heading out on a chiropractic mission trip to Haiti   over the holiday break. I wish I could list all the wonderful changes each and every one of you had while being adjusted this year…we have witnessed some wonderful things happening with our practice members!

So what is 2015 going to bring us you say?? First off, you can give the year a healthy start by joining in our Cleanse program. Yes, we all know everyone has a ‘new year’s resolution’ to eat better and maybe drop some weight, so why not have some motivation and help while doing it? The Cleanse Information workshop is the beginning of January. We are hosting some brand new workshops this coming year too! January will also bring the informational workshop for our first ever February Fitness Challenge! I’m not going to let it all out here, but we are hosting a month long fitness challenge to help you get in shape while having fun doing it. Keep an eye out for our new 7 Sinful Foods workshop in the beginning of February to learn which 7 foods are the worst for us to eat. February will host another brand new workshop on Concussion Awareness for parents to help them learn the signs and proper treatment of concussion. If you have a child (or if you yourself are) involved in any sports this is a must-see workshop! We are also starting a Pathways Connect Parenting Group where parents can come together for an hour to discuss topics in child-rearing with like-minded individuals. This group meets the first Wednesday of each month from 12-1pm. The first meeting is Wed Jan 7th and it is open to anyone in the public. As always, all of our workshops our open to not only practice members but any guests too!

As you can see, we have quite a few new workshops in the beginning of the year! There’s rumblings of even more through-out the year so keep an eye on posters and flyers so you don’t miss out on these invaluable tools to aid you in living a healthy life! We want to thank all of our practice members for a wonderful 2014 and we look forward to an exciting year ahead! Happy New Year everyone!

In Health,

Dr. Jen
