As you all know, a few months ago we came together as a community to help one of our own. This past February we held our fundraiser for Danielle to help her and her family while she was searching for a kidney donor. If you all remember learning of her story, she had been on the kidney transplant list for quite a few years. Your donations helped offset the costs of medical supplies, trips to the doctors for monitoring her condition and more. We know it was a journey of many peaks and valleys, yet Danielle and her family always held faith that it would all work out.

We are so excited to share that a match for Danielle has finally been found and she is having her transplant surgery this Thursday, June 8th!! Your help not only through the donations, but also each note that you all wrote has helped Danielle through her wait for her new kidney.

Danielle wrote, “Dear Chiropractic Family, Thank you so much for your support during my fundraiser. I am overwhelmed and extremely grateful for your notes and cards. I read them over and over. I am truly blessed by each one of you and am so thankful for your support. Love, Danielle”

Please keep Danielle and her entire family in your thoughts and prayers this coming weekend as she undergoes the transplant surgery she’s been waiting for. You know the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”? Well, it doesn’t stop there…it truly does take a village to ensure that everyone is taken care of. What you all accomplished in February with the donations and notes of love and support for Danielle is a shining example of what a community that comes together is capable of. We are honored to have each and every one of you as part of our chiropractic family. Now, let’s put out those good thoughts again to help Danielle through her surgery and recovery!
