If you missed our article in the Concord Monitor’s Live Well Magazine on Friday, don’t despair. I’m going to share this unbelievable story of healing with you right here on our blog!
The article was all about this cutie in the photo named Biyonca. She is now a Crossroads Practice Member. Biyonca had a rough start in life to say the least. She was born premature at only 3 pounds and 13 ounces. At age 1 she suffered her first upper respiratory infection. By the time she was two she was diagnosed with Reactive Airway Disease (asthma). Biyonca had flare-ups and frequently used a nebulizer, albuterol and cough syrup with codeine. Then even a rescue inhaler wasn’t enough. By age 3, Biyonca was rushed to the ER unable to breathe. From January to September last year Biyonca made 14 trips to the emergency room. Just before Biyonca’s 5th birthday her mother was told there was nothing more that could be done. They needed to just “stay the course” until she turned six, when more tests and medications could be given. Her mother didn’t want to accept this fate, and came to me looking for help.
After careful examination of Biyonca’s spine, I found several misalignments which were affecting her nerve system. I began to adjust her. In the first week of chiropractic adjustments her mother noticed a difference in the way Biyonca ran and played. She took less frequent breaks in soccer and didn’t need her inhaler at all!
After two months in my office, Biyonca weathered her first cold without a trip to the hospital. Her mom said, “I can literally say chiropractic has been her miracle! She no longer takes singulair or flovent. She rarely uses her rescue inhaler and I am proud to say she kicks butt on the soccer field!” Without a doubt, chiropractic has changed this little girl’s life… and her family’s too.
So I ask you, who have you told lately about chiropractic? Please help us to spread the word:)
