A Crossroads History Lesson… sort of

There are so many reasons that we say that we have the best chiropractic family around.  The number one reason?  You.  Each and every practice member adds to the perfect combination and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.  You as our practice members do so many things each day to remind us that we have the greatest jobs in the world.  I’ve been blessed to be part of this practice for a long time.  I started as a practice member almost 10 years ago (wow!!) and I’ve had the privilege to work here for over 7.  I’ve met so many wonderful people that sometimes it almost makes my head explode to think of how awesome you all are.  Maybe I’m sounding a little over zealous with my affection.  But I mean it… and those of you who have come to know me well, know I don’t say it if I don’t mean it 😉

So where the heck am I going with all this?  I wanted to take this opportunity to make a shout out.  To turn the tables a little.  Because now as my role in the office has shifted, as I’ve gotten to share my time between Pembroke and Meredith I know how easily it can be to become separated from the feeling of family that is so integral to what we do.  Remember this above all else, we’re in this together.

As I sit out back in my little office with the space heater cranking because Sharyn keeps Pembroke like a freezer, I’d like to use the blog every now and then to keep us connected.  To share random bits of information that we might otherwise miss as our schedules change, as we ‘graduate’ to coming fewer times each week, or we start sharing our time between Pembroke and Lakeside. Today I’d like to share with you a little bit of Crossroads history.  Did you know that Dr. Stephanie has a song?  You could even go so far as to call it a THEME song…  Turns out in the chiropractic family there is a celebrity.  And he has bestowed on us the highest honor – a song.  Just for us.

That’s right ladies and gentlemen… not only does the song exist, but I get to share it with you today… and I challenge you to keep from humming it later!  So without further ado…

The Dr. Stephanie Song ~ By Jim Barnes

And as a special Crossroads exclusive I can let you know that we’ve got Jim’s newest CD for sale at the office.  And because he’s so darn sweet, he’s letting us offer his CD for a special sale of $10… how cool is that?

So listen to Jim’s song, check out his website at www.thefolkmusician.com and remember…. you are a part of our chiropractic family, you are part of something bigger than all of us… we know something that so many people don’t know… that the body heals itself, it happens no other way!!

With Love,
Kathleen

That is about 14 shades of fantastic! Dr. Christine will love that, when she listens to it. Merry Christmas, Kathleen (and everyone else)! Miss you guys.
