Recently, while my wife and I went out to eat, I noticed a family of four sitting at the table across from us. All four were on some kind of electronic device. The parents were on their phones, both kids were on tablets. No talking, just electronics. (Mind you, my wife and I had just put our phones away as well. It has become a rule in our household, no phones at the dinner table.)

Seeing this family, reinforced the kind of society we now live in. We live in a digital age, where nearly everything is electronic. I mean you can pay for things with your phone, or even your watch! Look around you when you are out, how many people are checking their phones. (There is such a thing as text neck.) With delivery service, auto debit payments, and online ordering, you really could go a lifetime without having to talk to anyone. As technology becomes more advanced, we seem to have retreated into our own individual bubbles. Sometimes its easy to get lost in our own individual struggles.

This is why I love the open atmosphere of Crossroads Chiropractic. You can see that you are not alone. We all have our own individual health struggles, but chiropractic can help. Chiropractic is far reaching, in that it helps a foundational source of good health, the spine. Not only that, we are a community trying to help each other reach our full potential. Its in our mission statement: educate and adjust as many families as possible toward optimal health through natural chiropractic care. So put down the electronics once in a while, make sure you have that face to face time with your family and make sure that you get the text neck checked out.

Dr. David
