Dispatch From the Berkshires

This weekend your friendly neighborhood chiropractic team embarked on a chiropractic weekend conference called the Berkshire Triune. It was held in Lenox, MA and featured some of the best minds in chiropractic. Conferences like these are fun for us, but more importantly they make us better. They help us gain new skills and find new ways to better serve you and our community.
A major focus of the weekend was, of course, subluxation. Remember subluxation is when a spinal bone deviates from its correct position and puts pressure on the sensitive nerve system that is housed in and around the spine. The brain is constantly sending information down the spinal cord and out to every cell, tissue, and organ in your body. When there is pressure on these nerves via a subluxation, basically an obstruction of the information the brain is sending occurs. When this happens, the body cannot function normally. Now, please note, you do not need to have pain to have nerve obstruction from a subluxation. Thus, you can have a problem with no pain! You already understand this concept: when a heart attack occurs, aren’t the symptoms generally only present at the very end when the attack is happening? Did the heart attack happen because of a cause that was right then or has it been building up over time? Over time, is the answer. Yet, the person only had symptoms had the end.
See why it is so important that you choose chiropractic for you and your family? Only chiropractors seek and correct subluxation of the bones (vertebrae) in your spine. When a person is subluxated, whether or not there are symptoms or secondary conditions, is irrelevant. What is very relevant is that a subluxated spine does not allow the body to be fully functional. A subluxated spine robs the capacity of your body: the capacity to heal and maintain physiological homeostasis. Most of you already know this of course, but many people don’t. They will go through life in a state of ever continuing breakdown. You have the freedom to be different. Chiropractic is for all people, of all ages. We all have spines, nervous systems, and if we have never been checked, most likely subluxations.
Don’t wait till you have a crisis. This means you’re too late. Don’t be reactive, be proactive. We all want the best for our lives, we all deserve that, and the world needs your best! Chiropractic can be a good step in that direction. The choice is yours.
In health, Dr. Graham
