Hey Everyone,
Hope all is well! The weather looks like it is finally moving from “meh” to “nice”. However, I’ve learned in my short time in New England not to be fooled! Another snow could still be possible. I will still think this in June…..
I want to give a shout out to our 5K training group we are having a great time! If anyone wants to join us we meet Saturday mornings at Pembroke Academy’s track at 8:30am. Come on out!
I am very nearly ending my office sanctioned cleanse. I know all of you who are doing the cleanse with us are also moving in that direction too. I’ve heard tons of great reports this week from people doing the cleanse involving dropped pounds and clothes sizes, but the benefits are going so much deeper than this, as blood profiles and organ function are being supported and improved.
Taking it one step further, the cleanse had me thinking about what we put into our bodies (and what that means on a grand scale). We have become so conditioned to the way we do things, that we have began to think of things like taking pills or eating food additives as “normal” or “just how things are”. Our office wants to give you an alternative. Most people don’t think its a great idea to pound pills or eat “food” where they can’t pronounce many of the ingredients. However, given lack of choices/ having these items jammed down our throats (literally and figuratively) by media and “experts” leaves individuals with a distinct lack of options.
That is why we are so appreciative of you! When you choose to utilize an office like ours, the co-op, or buy organic food, etc. you cast your vote for new choices. You cast your vote for the real over the artificial. In the end this is what speaks to big business and politicians and drug companies. The market dictates what will be produced and sold. I think that is the real trick: we feel like we don’t have other choices then all the artificial around us, but we hold the keys! I find this so liberating!
This also places a heavy responsibility upon you! Insert Spiderman quote, right! “With great power, comes great responsibility.” It means giving your body time to heal naturally, instead of casting your vote for motrin (besides look at the tylenol, motrin, zyrtec, and benadryl recall that is currently happening). It means eating more produce (especially organic) versus mega cheezy blast o pepperoni puffs (you get the idea). It means creating the market you hope to see for you and your family with every choice you make ( and they all count). We are thankful for you casting your vote with us as we try to be a natural, healthy option serving the capital region! Remember Ganhi said, “be the change you want to see in the world”. Sounds like a plan!
