Hi everybody! This week is a huge week in the health future of New Hampshire and perhaps as a result many other states! I’m sure you’ve seen the articles at the office featuring the info about http://www.vacchoicenh.com/ and the hearings that are taking place at the legislative building in Concord.

If you haven’t let me get you up to speed: vaccines are debateable due to health concerns with some of the materials contained within them, however this is not the issue of the current hearings. The current bill would allow a parent to not vaccinate their child based on “conscientious objection” (which would be great!) vs “religious exemption”.

This is so important not just for those of you who are against vaccinations altogether, but also parents who do vaccinate. For those who do vaccinate, this bill would allow you to choose when and how many vaccinations would be mandatory for your child (I would want a choice about the chicken pox vaccine, or say you want to wait on certain vaccinations).  This is a vaccine issue, but more importantly a freedom issue. All people should have the right to choose what is done to themselves and their children. Even if you are pro-vaccine doesn’t it, as an American, seem we still have an obligation to protect each other’s freedom (even if we don’t agree)!

I moved to New Hampshire last month, becasue I wanted to live among independent people, free people! I know this state sets the bar for the country so much, like in the case of the presidential primary (don’t tell my friends in Iowa that I said that, they think the Iowa caucus rules all).  This is an opportunity for this state to be a leader again! This bill is so important for choices our in health, our freedom, and our children!

Please visit http://www.vacchoicenh.com/ and sign the online petition or better yet come to the legislative building and sign the petition there and make your voice heard (go directly behind the capital building and go to the old gray building across the street; the simple directions). The hearing will be at 1pm Monday, February 8th.  We look forward to seeing you out there! Thank you for supporting freedom!

We love you all and want the best for you and your family! We will always do our best to give you all the information, so that you can make the best, educated choices for your health.  Really, isn’t that what this bill is doing too? It is asking for the freedom to allow us all to make educated, informed decisions as free Americans! When we do that we support the spirit of New Hampshire that you all love and that I moved across the country to find!
